Renewable Energy

AFL has been at the forefront of Deutsche Bank's involvement in renewable energy Projects since 1999 and offers products for developers, asset owners and investors along the whole value chain of a renewable energy projects, acting as co-developer, sponsor, arranger and underwriter of debt and equity for renewable energy projects.

AFL is predominantly focused on the wind (onshore and offshore) and solar (PV and CSP) sectors but constantly evaluates new technologies to grow its franchise: AFL is currently working on biomass, biogas and small hydro transactions. 

Regional focus of our activities includes Europe, North America and selected markets in Asia Pacific with renewable energy professionals located in Frankfurt, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, London, New York, Singapore and Dubai.

In 2010, Deutsche Bank has been awarded Best Renewable Energy Finance House - Europe based on a reader's survey of Environmental Finance & Carbon Finance magazines. Further awards are listed under AFL Awards.
