Renewable Energy

The future belongs to renewable energy. Wind, biomass, solar, hydraulic and geothermal energy - all of these can make an important contribution to protecting the earth's climate. The German government and the European Union intend to at least double the percentage of power generated by these sources by the year 2010. A large number of subsidy programs have helped to create a situation in which facilities for the production of renewable energy have become viable investments that are attractive over the long term.

We have concentrated our expertise for this emerging sector in our Renewable Energy Team, to be well-positioned to serve the challenges of this rapidly-growing market.

Our activities in the field of renewable energy include: participation in selected project developments in Germany and abroad, advisory and support of project financings ranging from the provision of interim financing to the structuring of closed-end funds, thus enabling private investors to participate in this dynamic market.
